The software providers Blue Auditor and A-Null Development have entered into a partnership and jointly developed a new solution that makes energy performance certificates directly usable for ESG analyses without any manual intermediate steps.

The interface between building physics software and the ESG platform automates the transfer of relevant building data from energy performance certificates. On this basis, assessments of EU Taxonomy compliance, climate risk analyses, and forecasts of CO₂ emissions and energy misalignment can be generated immediately. Audit-ready reporting and a decarbonization pathway for buildings and portfolios are also created, fully revision-proof and without any manual rework.

Data basis for climate risks and financing

This creates new opportunities for owners, project developers, and investors. EU Taxonomy requirements can be reliably verified, climate risks become transparent, and renovation strategies can be developed on a data-driven basis. This approach is particularly relevant in light of increasing regulatory requirements and the growing linkage between sustainable financing and measurable energy performance indicators. As a result, energy-efficient and climate-friendly planning and operation of buildings are brought closer to financing and investment practice.

The major advantage lies in efficiency. Automatic evaluation eliminates complex process steps that previously required significant time and cost resources. This not only strengthens planning reliability but also creates a sound foundation for decarbonization strategies in the building sector.
